Regina Bypass Open Tour Celebrates Family, Teamwork and Safety
On Saturday, May 10, the Regina Bypass team welcomed their families and friends to the Regina Bypass Offices in Emerald Park for a special Open Tour Day focused on connection, pride, and road safety.
The event offered visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the people, equipment, and day-to-day operations that help keep one of Saskatchewan’s largest transportation infrastructure projects running safely and efficiently year-round.
Guests had the opportunity to explore areas of the facility not typically open to the public while learning more about the important work involved in maintaining the Bypass in all seasons and conditions. The day also highlighted the strong commitment and teamwork behind the operation.
A major attraction for both children and adults was the display of heavy equipment, including a snowplow and grader, along with a fire truck provided by the White City Fire Department. Visitors were invited to climb inside the vehicles and experience the “mobile offices” used by crews and first responders every day.
“Safety is at the heart of everything we do at the Regina Bypass,” said Christophe Martin, General Manager of the Regina Bypass leadership team. “It was incredibly rewarding to welcome our families, neighbors and partners and share the work our team takes such pride in every day. From winter maintenance to emergency response support, our people are committed to keeping Saskatchewan drivers safe, and this event was a great way to celebrate that commitment together.”
