Traffic Advisory – Dewdney Avenue Closed starting Saturday July 13
As early as Saturday July 13, weather permitting, Dewdney Avenue will be closed to traffic between Pinkie Road and Condie Road.
East bound traffic from Dewdney travelling to Regina or Highway 1 West will enter the GTH at Fleming and use the new Regina Bypass.
Motorists going to Regina will exit at the Hill Avenue ramp to access Pinkie Road north and drive back to Dewdney Avenue.
West bound trafficfrom Dewdney wanting to go to the GTH, Grand Coulee, Sherwood Forest or Pense will take Pinkie Road south to the Hill Avenue ramp. Motorists will travel north on the new West Regina Bypass and enter the GTH. They will then turn left at the corner of Dewdney and Fleming to re-enter Dewdney and head west.
Dewdney Avenue is scheduled to be re-opened to traffic on Saturday July 27, weather permitting.
