Regina Bypass surpasses two million hours with zero lost-time incidents
At Regina Bypass safety is one of our core values and an important part of every workday.
With safety being a priority on the project, Alisdair Dickinson, project director, proudly announced that the Regina Bypass team has achieved over two million work hours with zero lost-time incidents.
“As safety is integrated into all our operations, we make the protection of our team members, the communities we are working with and the environment a priority,” said Dickinson. “While we are proud that we have reached over two million work hours with zero lost-time incidents, this is a milestone in our journey and not our end goal.”
As part of the project’s ongoing safety initiatives, Regina Bypass team members receive a daily safety tip and participate in pre-shift tailgate meetings. As well, each Bypass area team holds monthly safety meetings that focus on a variety of safety topics.
The RBDB Health, Safety and Environment Management System goal is to achieve zero harm to people the environment and assets. Regina Bypass HSE MS, is based on recognized HSE management systems: CSA Z1000, ANSI Z10, and OHSAS 18001.
